It's been a couple of months since I finished my final project for the AS Level, but now it's time for me to start with the A Level one.
When Stoklosa presented us all the options that we could choose for this project, I divided my two top choices between the easy route, the musical package, and the "I want" route, the short-film package. At the end, I guess I wanted to challenge myself so I decided the "I want" route.
Another reason that helped me decide was that I had or I have a better concept of what I want to do for a short-film, as different from last year when I decided what to focus my film on when we had to start officially with the project.
My idea for this is to film a psychological thriller; basically, it's going to have the concept of when someone breaks in into a house and plays a psychological game with the house owners, but it will have a little twist at the end, which I'll discuss more in my upcoming posts.
I'm really excited about this project, but nervous as well since I have such a clear picture of some scenes that I don't know if I'll be able to portray as well as I'm imagining them.
Nevertheless, the first phase is always to do research, so I've been watching a couple of movies related to what I want to do and I'll be posting this research in the following days.
